Descripción
The standard guide to Croatia and the neighbouring countries Slovenia, Montenegro and Albania, Adriatic Pilot now celebrates 20 years of publication. Adriatic Pilot also provides coverage of the eastern coast of Italy and is the only guide to the Venice Lagoon and harbours adjacent to Istria. At present no other guide covers the entire region in a single volume in English, and Trevor and Dinah Thompson's well researched work provides all the essential navigational information for yachtsmen visiting the area. This 5th edition has been thoroughly revised from visits by the authors during 2006 and 2007. Technical information has been updated and details of new marinas and their facilities with revised harbour plans and many new photographs make the edition significantly different from the last. The well-regarded charts at the introduction to each section are now cross-referenced to the larger scale plans in the text and page referencing is more comprehensive. Each coastal section is now colour coded and identifiable by colour tabs and this also improves navigation around the book This new edition of Adriatic Pilot will be complemented by Imray's new series of charts for the Dalmatian coast which will be available from early summer 2008.
